Children are always welcome in worship! We feel it is important to make children aware of the service and how we worship together. If you prefer, child care is available for infants and children through 4 years of age (A beeper system is used in our preschool area). 

 Sunday School is offered at 9:45 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. Our PreSchool Nursery and Children's area is located on the lower level of the office buildings (doorway faces Huntsville City Police Station).  Our Elementary children's area is located in the social hall building (Corner of 10th Street where the playground is.)  

Acolytes are for children in 3rd through 6th grades.  They are responsible for lighting the altar candles and placing the offering plates on the altar on Sunday mornings.  Scheduled training sessions are held as needed and acolytes serve on a rotation basis. 

 June 10th is Promotion Sunday- All classes (k-6th) will meet in the Sanctuary for our 3rd grade bible presentation. We will then go to our new classrooms and have a class celebration as we recieve promotion certificates.

Last field trip of the summer:

June 10th from 12 - 4pm is also our end of school pool party- (K-6th graders) are invited to meet in lower level of youth building for pizza, rootbeer floats, and fellowship before loading buses to go to City Pool. Each student will need permission slip and $5.00 to cover food and entrance fees. Don't forget sun block, swim suits, and towel.

Children's Hand Chimes and Choir meets Thursdays from 5:30 - 6:30 pm in the sanctuary.

Children's Praise Dance Team meets Thursdays from 6:30 pm to 7pm in the sanctuary.

The choirs and dance team perform in Worship on special occassions throughout the year. Both groups are led by  Windy Looney, Director of Children's Fine Arts.
