Join other class members in an introduction to Microsoft's latest operating system, Windows 8. Though this is not a class for advanced computer users, participants should be familiar with the use of a mouse and keyboard as well as some experience with earlier versions of Windows. This 8-week Bible study uses DVD clips from the movie, Courageous, as a backdrop for discussion and insight on how husbands and wives can make new commitments to each other and to their children and in the process leave a strong legacy of faithfulness for generations to come. Cost per couple: $25. Class Leaders: Rev. Mark Pickett and Josie Pickett.
As we travel from the birth of baby Jesus at Christmas, through the season of Lent and the death of Jesus upon the cross, participants in this 8-week class will take an in-depth look at the life of Jesus as presented in the various Gospels of the New testament. Participants will see how scripture, tradition, reason and experience help us to understand and interpret God's divine truth as seen through Jesus in the Gospels. Class Leader: Dr. Terry Bilhartz.
Members will take part in a Bible study that contains ASL versions of New Testament stories with lesson points to help us apply these stories to our everyday life. Class Leader: Leslie Michaelson.
