UMW Groups   … Visitors Welcome!

The purpose of United Methodist Women is to be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ:  to develop a creative, supportive fellowship, and to expand the global ministries of the church.

 Group Meetings:

The Lioness Circle meets online at https://www.facebook.com/groups/LionessUMW/ for a study topic (posted by 4:30pm) and online group discussion & comments.  Karen Robinson is group leader.

Lydia Group meets on 3rd Sundays. Location and times to be announced monthly. Leaders are  Eldaa Avalos at 936-661-3229 and Caroline Crimm.

Nash-Roberson Group meets 2nd Tuesdays of each month at 9:30 a.m. .  Leaders are Una Grace Nash at 295-5745 and Eddene Smith.

The Mary Frances Park Group meets on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 9:30 a.m. Leaders are Patsy Ann Reed at 295-9434 and Betty Herlong.

The Martha Group meets on 3rd Wednesday of each month at 9:30 a.m.  Leaders are   Faye Jordan at 291-1621 and Joye Chamness

The Lunch Bunch meets at Noon at FUMC. Dates TBA  We are about Christian Fellowship and we meet from Noon until 1 p.m  Leaders are Jessie Grant 713 306 4874 and Vicki Bailey.  Please call the church at 295-5441 to verify meeting dates.

Susanna Wesley Service Group  meets  as needed in the UMW Room at the church.  If you are interested in working on items for the Annual Granny’s Kitchen and Bazaar, contact this this service group. Leaders are Mary Margaret Durham and Jo Hines.
