Vacation Bible School - Aug. 5-8, 2024 from 5:15-7:15 p.m.
Join FUMC Huntsville for The Great Jungle Journey Vacation Bible School. We will explore the 7 C's of History: Creation, Corruption, Catastrophe, Confusion, Christ, Cross, and Consummation. Kids will discover how these events shape our world, and they will learn to reconnect the Bible to their everyday lives.
We will begin every evening in the Community Life Center (at the corner of 10th Street and Sam Houston Ave.) with a free light dinner for children and parents alike, and then students will have an assembly, a bible story, crafts, and music to rotate to!
Kids will be grouped by 3-4-year-olds, (beginning) K-2nd, and 3rd-5th grades.

June 30, 2024 — "Turn Our Hearts to Praise"
A combined service at 11 a.m. I the historic sanctuary followed by a 4th of July Picnic Pot Luck in the CLC. Everyone and we are encouraged to bring guests.
July 14, 2024, 3 p.m.—"Ukraine Folk Songs and the music of Edvard Grieg" featuring University of Houston pianist Alona Khoptynets
Aug. 25, 2024, 3 p.m.—"Favorite Arias and Art Songs" featuring SHSU Tenor Dr. Aric Schneller and Pianist Dr. Tingting Yao

A combined service in the Community Life Center at 11 a.m. with the FUMC Praise Team. John Krystyniak will showcase our SHSU scholarship singers.
